The SystemUpdater is a name for a cartridge that was used during development for the Nintendo DSi. The cartridge can update or downgrade to v1.4, as well as change the region.

Features

The features for this cartridge are very simple. The cartridge contains updates for all regions (including China and Korea) and they will be installed when selected. When an update is started, everything on the NAND will be erased during the process and new factory data will be copied over to the console. The CID and Console ID will be changed as well.

You can cancel the update by pressing B, freezing the menu, forcing you to restart.

Note(s)

  • Voodooween, the owner of this cartridge, has not made a proper dump yet, but he said he would like to release it soon, once he has the setup for it.
