Home Menu

The HOME Menu is the menu that appears when you are playing a Wii game and you press the HOME button on your Wii Remote. It's how you go back to the Wii Menu once you're done playing a game.

The HOME menu has a Reset button, which restarts the game you're playing, a Wii Menu button, which brings you back to the Wii Menu, and a controller options menu, where you can change the order of the connected Wii Remotes. There is also a manual for some applications.

Since games on the Wii run on bare metal, the HOME menu is actually individually included in the files of every single game. This is why the HOME menu has not changed or updated in any way through Wii software updates. The HOME menu is actually part of the game's files, and not part of the Wii's OS. It's even included within the Wii Menu.
