The unit is also able to switch between a wired and wireless mode for the BT and GamePad connections. This unit is the 'test kit' Wii U development unit (the equivalent to the Wii's RVT-R Reader or the GameCube's NR Reader, intended as a low-cost option for game testing as well as a general-purpose development solution for indie studios.
